who we are
Unbox Design is an architecture and interior design studio based in Delhi, founded by Aman Issar.
We work across architecture, interiors, landscape and construction, for homes, offices, commercial spaces and hospitality.
Our first question is never about form. It's about the people: how they live or work, what their days feel like, and what a space needs to do before it is allowed to look like anything.
And because we build what we design, we stay in the room from the first sketch to the day we hand over the keys.

why UNBOX
One team, from first sketch to final build.
Most projects pass through three or four hands: an architect, an interior designer, a contractor, and a site supervisor nobody quite answers to.
Every handover is a place where the idea gets diluted and the blame gets passed along. We hold design and construction under one roof, so one team is accountable for how a space is imagined and how it is built.
Design-led
Design follows understanding. We start by unpacking who the space is for, and the form comes after that, never before.
Integrated
Architecture, interiors, landscape and construction in one contract. No gaps between consultants, no finger-pointing on site.
Material-conscious
We choose stone, wood, lime and brick for how they will look in ten years, not how they photograph on handover day.
Build-aware
The thousand decisions that no drawing anticipates are made on site by the people who drew it.

What is Unbox Design?

02.
What is a design and build firm?
A design and build firm designs your project and builds it under one contract. At Unbox Design, the architects who draw your home or office also run the site, so the design is not diluted between an architect, an interior designer and a separate contractor. You get one team and one point of accountability.
03.
Which areas of Delhi NCR does Unbox Design work in?
Unbox Design works across Delhi NCR, including South Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and Faridabad, from its studio in East of Kailash, New Delhi. The studio also takes on projects outside Delhi NCR selectively, when the scale and scope are right.
04.
How do I start a project with an architect at Unbox Design?
Send a project enquiry through the website or email us at contact@unboxdesign.in. If the project is a good fit, it begins with a paid first engagement in which Unbox Design studies the site and the brief, and delivers a written brief with a budget and timeline estimate before any drawings are made.
